Description

(Uploading on my adopts account for now since it wouldn't work on my main account <3)

Reference sheet for a new species of mine called the Meepwi</h3>

The model for the Meepi reference here is my Meepwi character, Meep.

Meepwis are CLOSED SPECIES. Please DO NOT make your own at this point in time.

Pronounciation:

Meep-wee

About wild Meepwis

Meepwi's are overall gentle and docile creatures unless threatened. When threatened they will puff out their tails and fur, and snarl. If attacked, they will fight back brutally. They tend to live in the colder regions of the Earth; hence their large, fluffy tails that can be used to keep warm. Mountains are also a prefered living area for Meepwi's.

Meepwi's are carnivores and typically hunt small rodent creatures. If they're desperate for food, they will attempt to eat trash, or vegetation.

Meepwi's are naturally a wild species, but if done correctly and carefully, you can domesticate them.

About domesticated Meepwis:

It isn't impossible to domesticate wild Meepwi's, but it can be very tedious, and requires absolute dedication and patience.

To get their attention, once you spot a Meepwi, throwing food in their direction is the first step. The Meepwi will almost always notice you once you do this. There is no need to hide from them. Repeating this over a period of a week should make them like you. Eventually they may come close to you, so then you should pet them gently and let them know you are safe. Doing these 2 things each day until the Meepwi follows you around will domesticate it. Once a Meepwi follows you when you walk away, you're pretty much set and you have yourself a new companion.

Domesticated Meepwi's are to be treated as you would treat a pet cat.

Domisticated Meepwi's also tend to just belong to, and be loyal to just one person. They would not make the best family pets. They are however gentle and curious with young children.

Questions about the Meepwi species:

Can I make my own Meepwi?

A: At the moment, sorry no. uvu I am keeping the Meepwi as a closed species for the time being which means you may not make your own, sell them, etc.

But I want a Meepi sooooo bad!

A: The only way currently to own a Meepi is by buying one from an adoptables batch, or buying a custom.

In the future if Meepwi's get popular enough, I will make them an open species and others will be free to make them as they want and maybe even make adoptables and sell them.

(Any other questions about the Meepwi species will be added here!)
